Restorative Dentistry
A pain-free and healthy mouth is our goal for all of our patients.
Tooth decay and trauma can lead to painful, misshaped and discolored teeth. At Russell Davis Dentistry, we offer many solutions to restoring damaged teeth. This includes tooth-colored bonded fillings, crowns and root canals. Should one or more of your teeth need to be replaced we offer fixed bridges, partial and complete dentures as well as implant restorations. Dr. Davis and staff can discuss your needs and priorities to offer the best solution to providing you with a healthy and pain free smile.
Below are more details about each treatment option.
Bonded fillings
The tooth is numbed, all decay is removed and a tooth-colored filling is bonded in place.
Crowns
If a large portion of the tooth is decayed or broken off, a tooth-colored porcelain crown is placed over the tooth to provide strength and restore natural beauty.
Root canal
If the soft pulp tissue inside the tooth is inflamed or infected due to decay or trauma, the tissue is removed and the canals cleaned and sealed to prevent future pain or infection.
Fixed Bridge
If a tooth is lost with adjacent teeth in front and behind it, a fixed bridge can be placed to replace the missing tooth. The adjacent teeth are prepared for crowns, and a custom bridge is fabricated that cements in place to restore the look and function of the missing tooth.
Removable Partial or Complete Denture
Should multiple or all teeth be missing or damaged, a partial or complete denture can replace the missing teeth. Impressions of your mouth are taken and a custom denture is fabricated to restore the look of a beautiful smile.
Implant Restorations
An implant is a titanium post that can be placed by an oral surgeon to replace the root of a missing or non- restorable tooth. After the implant has healed, we make a custom crown for the implant to restore your smile to its original beauty.
